Cannabis Community Highlight by Ms. Jane Accounting

Meet Michael. He is an educator turned entrepreneur. No stranger to the struggle, born and raised on the south side of Colorado Springs he was incarcerated for possession of marijuana at the age of 19. As his record kept him out of the growing marijuana industry he focused on community, youth, and mentorship. With recent legislative changes, he has left the classroom for the cannabis community hopeful that he'll be able to contribute to this burgeoning industry. As someone born and raised in Colorado and negatively impacted by the war on drugs, he is working to make sure that our most marginalized communities of color aren't forgotten! A convicted felon for marijuana possession in Colorado he likes to use a Hill Harper quote as his daily mantra, “Once you have a felony conviction on your record, one of the most difficult things to do is break the cycle of recidivism." Michael has been doing just that and with the aid of Better Days Delivery, he is hoping to help others do that as well.

As the owner of Better Days Delivery, they are one of the first to be licensed in both Denver and Aurora giving our partners access to a wider market. People should look to us as a partner when they are trying to align themselves with a brand that is community-centered.
